Modeling the Reading's Baldwin AS-16s

Written by Conductor

The Reading Company rostered a significant fleet of Baldwin AS-16 road switcher locomotives in the 1950s and 1960s, with several notable variations within the class.  While these units were not without their performance issues throughout their service life on the Reading, they were a distinctive feature of the road's operations during this time.  Reading Modeler member Ron Giordani (reading5310) has prepared a comprehensive clinic on modeling these locomotives and the various cosmetic features, and has shared it in PDF format for all to review and use.  Click here to access the PDF (please note you may need to rotate the PDF to view properly), and enjoy!
