Freight being delivered on the Reading

The Reading Modeler is pleased to present an interactive version of the Reading Company 1954 Freight Shippers' Guide. This online reference provides a snapshot of every station on the railroad, and lists facilities at that location such as cranes and scales, interchanges with foreign railroads, and most importantly, customers serviced at that location, the nature of their business, and whether delivery was to a private siding or the station's team track. To get started, select a division from the list below or use the station search feature.

NOTE: Customers and locations within Philadelphia city limits and immediate suburbs are included in a separate section of the Guide, which is organized differently than the outlying territories. We are in the process of coding that information and will make it available online as soon as technically possible.   Please be patient!

Survey
What's your preference for rolling stock modeling?

Give it to me ready-to-run right out of the box
I'd rather "shake the box" and put it on the track
I enjoy assembling a fairly detailed kit
I'll bash it or build it from scratch, thank you
